So last summer, the kids painted the drywall boards that we put up in the yoga studio. But because we didn't want to destroy their beautiful artwork, we never taped or plastered the joints. Instead we are going to trim the boarders.
We collected some barn wood from Ed's family farm, and had a great time using the power-washer to clean it. A power-washer will really cool you off on a hot day. It also makes rainbows. Next everyone pitched in to stain the boards. I love using stain, because if the wood is wet, all the better. We didn't get to putting up any trim, maybe the fun of the power-washer was a bit distracting, but we are ready. Next week it's measure, cut, and then we will be using one of my favorite tools, the nail gun.
