Our yoga spaces is an attic space so the sides slope down and create small areas, certainly no good for those who are taller than an elf. One of our first projects was to build a wall that framed frame our TV --slowing down potential thieves, since our last TV was stolen out of the house while we were there even. We have been building walls in the yoga space for awhile, letting the kindness ambassadors paint them, but now for the actual construction. We measured, built the wall frame on the floor and then attached it. That was a new experience for me, and the amount of measuring and thinking behind it gave me a greater awareness of how useful this program really is. It requires problem solving, teamwork, and persistent effort along with our qualities of good service.
It will soon be done, and I am impressed with the work so far.
