Living In Loving Community

The Community House Network, NFP is committed to helping those in our community live their best lives.  For each of us, that may look differently.  We honor and respect each of our community members.

A healthy community arises from healthy connections and healthy individuals, in body, mind, spirit. Since the start of the Community House Network, NFP, the world has become more and more devisive.  We have lost our way. Many of us are struggling to find the joy and peace we once had, or maybe only dreamed of.

We believe the world is on a collective state of evolution.  That the success of each of us is ultimately tied to the success of the whole.  It is not a zero-sum game anymore.  We must all come together to make this world a better place.

We are currently focused on creating avenues to help lift up those around us through helping them heal from trauma, and share their gifts.

INVEST IN YOURSELF

The Community House Network is dedicated to building healthy connections and community, and we believe it begins by helping each of us discover our gifts and talents and find ways of sharing them with the world.

THE HISTORY OF THE ART GARAGE
The Art Garage was the start of it all. It began with the energy of the neighborhood youth.  They came to the garage, and I held the space for them to explore, play and connect with each other.  To learn more about our origins, visit our original Art Garage website here.

From those humble beginnings, the Community House Network, NFP emerged in 2020. We expanded, creating a space for healing for our local community with a focus on those with the highest needs.  The Chrysalis House provided transitional housing for women recovering from addiction.  Our Community House at 2223 N. Sheridan  hosted recovery meetings, yoga, youth programming, women's groups, and more.  We worked with the Midwest Food Bank and created a pantry, often delivering food to those who could not leave their houses.

Our youth programming evolved and formalized into the Ambassadors of Kindness character development program and the Conceptual Math Wizards.  In 2025 we were able to extend our programming outside of our neighborhood and provided the Conceptual Math Wizards and Ambassadors of Kindness programs to the Dream Center as always free of charge.

This year we have moved to AnaPrana Healing and Yoga Studio located at
1617 Valle Vista Blvd, Pekin, IL 61554.  This space has opened up new opportunities for creative collaboration.  Our goal is to create a powerful connected, loving community of creative people of all ages.  It will not be the academics or the politicians who change the world, it will be the Artists.

Come be a part of creative community and help uplift our world.

SHARE YOUR GIFTS

The Community House was a dream brought into reality.  This is what God wants for each of us.  We are meant to share our light with the world.

Many of us have the desire to bring forth something good in the world, but do not know where to start.  The Community House Network, NFP is committed to helping those who are seeking support in bringing their dreams into the world.
